| One summer evening while perusing through
a collection of jewelry, Latasha mused, "I can make that." And after
searching tirelessly for adornments that captured her own spirit of
sophistication to no avail, she declared, "I WILL create my own jewelry." A picture on a page, and a shopping trip that produced no purchases sparked a flame that, once ignited grew and thrived. Thus was the inspired launch of Divalee Designs. The premier production, Queen Jewel was created in July 2005 as Latasha's introduction to the art of jewelry design. After carefully selecting only the best in genuine materials and fusing them into a fine masterpiece, she placed her work on display to immediate acceptance and rave reviews. In October 2005, Latasha officially launched the Divalee Designs brand, allowing the world to gaze at her creations, crafted from her revelations. A talented and determined perfectionist, she set out to outfit those sophisticates who, like herself, could not be defined by mass-produced baubles and beads. Now, more than a year following the launch of Divalee Designs, the collection of exclusive expressions has grown and continues to delight. While Latasha has been blessed to be able to realize her dream of succeeding doing something she truly loves, her first goal is to create works of art that serve as wondrous representations of women's inherent beauty.
